Established in 2002 initially as a freight forwarding company, we specialised in long haul and distribution of spares countrywide.

F.T.X then began transporting coal in 2006 for AFGRI then contracted to ROTRAN and eventually acquired a contract with ESKOM in 2007.

Only one vehicle was required for the ESKOM project at first and in a short space of a year we needed more.

F.T.X is a family run business currently based in Ermelo, Johannesburg and Middelburg. We have dedicated our lives to the efficient management and safe delivery of goods transportation. With an extensive background in logistics and freight forwarding, we applied all our combined expertise in the transportation industry.

Our standard of excellence driven by passion for transportation is what makes us the leading supplier in this industry.

We have a variety of vehicles ranging from 1TON LDV’s, 8 Tonners, 32 TON Horse and Trailer and Fuel Tankers. Our current fleet caters predominantly to the coal and fuel industry, however, we do also have Flat Beds, Curtain Sides, Drop Sides, Super Links, Tankers and Plant Equipment.

We have the insight and financial capabilities to acquire specialised trailers specific to the clients needs.
